The property portfolio was consolidated in 2014/15 as some non-core investments were sold. An apartment in Notting Hill was sold as prices in central London reached all-time highs. A portfolio of ground rent investments was disposed of as a good offer was received from an institutional buyer.
The office and industrial buildings remain fully occupied and generate a strong yield. Capital valuations for commercial property in the North East remain low.
