Founder and CEO
Jeremy co-founded HomeServe and helped to grow the business to a £4bn exit. With an entrepreneurial background, Jeremy provides strategic advice and financial support to investees.
Chief Operating Officer
David is responsible for the asset allocation and leads on venture capital investments. David has 12+ years of investment experience and has worked on 50+ venture capital transactions.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant, working in finance within several entrepreneurial businesses before joining Middleton Enterprises. He leads our Growth Capital investments. Mike has over 15 years’ experience in finance and investment.
Brett manages our Listed Equity Strategy. He is responsible for managing our analysts, meeting with management teams and recommending trades to the investment committee, having worked on the strategy since inception.
He is responsible for developing our growth capital portfolio by identifying opportunities, conducting in-depth research and supporting our investee companies. James joined MEL having graduated from the University of Sheffield where he studied business.
He is responsible for conducting in-depth research, analysing data and building financial models for the Middleton Enterprises listed equities investment process.
Charlie joined MEL after graduating from the University of Otago with a Masters in Economics.
Rachel qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011, after graduating from Newcastle University with a Degree in Accounting and Finance. Rachel joined Middleton Enterprises, having previously worked in a wide range of business, including multi-nationals, PE backed entrepreneurs, and Charities.
Morag manages the company’s finances on a day-to-day basis, as well as preparing management info’, plus what you already have there. Previously she has held financial positions at several trading companies in the North East.
After graduating from Newcastle University with a Masters Degree in International Marketing MSc, Lucy has 5+ years’ experience working in the marketing department for a variety of consumer companies, and also works for Charity Escapes.
Paul headed up PWCs practice in the North East. He was also the first Chairman of the North east Local Enterprise partnership and has extensive connections with regional businesses, and in the public and charitable sectors.
Nick is a Company Director, General Manager, business consultant and investor with over thirty-five years blue-chip experience in international sales, marketing and business development in the consumer goods, technology, consultancy, and market research sectors.
Trustee of the Middleton Foundation and a Non-Executive Director
A former midwife at RVI in Newcastle, Catherine is a board member of Maggie’s, a ‘US’ Active Fundraising Committee Member and was previously Press Officer for Variety, the children’s charity.
